Reno Slot Machine Makes Millionaire
Oft times, when life
changes, it is sudden and unexpected. It all happened one bright
Sunday morning for Kathleen Chapman. Chapman was scheduled to
meet up with a buddy for brunch in Reno, Nevada. To pass the time
as she waited, she decides to hit the slot machines in the
Atlantis Casino and Resort.
Chapman’s slot machine
of choice that day was the Wheel of Fortune Mega Jackpot machine.
After enough time had passed for her to drop approximately $100
into the slot machine, Chapman hit the jackpot. And boy did she
hit the jackpot. All of a sudden Kathleen Chapman had an extra
$1,054,428 added to her name. Brunch was probably on her that
day.
The sudden blessings of
Lady Luck turned Chapman into a slot machine millionaire.
Chapman, 51-years old, currently works as a technical support
administrator. She has no clear vision yet on how she plans to
let her jackpot affect her future. She has only expressed two
short term intentions. First, she will honor her parents with a
Germany vacation. Second, the slot machine money will fund a few
remodeling projects on her home in Lincoln, California.
The 52,000 square foot
Atlantis Casino Resort Spa houses 1,452 slot machines. The large
casino also has forty-two table games. Atlantis is located on the
corner of South Virginia and Peckham Lane on the strip. The
casino features a 983-room hotel and eight restaurants.
